The healing aspects of Laura’s work are rooted in Ancient wisdom and teachings. Those who venture to enhance their recovery journey through movement, song, storytelling and many other forms of creative expression find Laura a willing and helpful guide. She delights in using sound as healing, organic movement that’s both informing and integrating and she views theatre as the art form of unity and clarity.  Her studies, advanced trainings and certifications are in Music Therapy, Adult Story Telling, Play Therapy, Mandala, Journey Dance, Sand Tray Playback Theatre and Performing Arts Productions.  Along with her many talents and gifts, she also actively performs with the National Symphony Orchestra in the United States and Europe, leads Kirtan and instructs Visionary Belly Dance.  Upon meeting Laura, you will immediately sense her radiant vibe, intense imagery and ebullient personality.  She will encourage you to try something new, awaken your inner light and open the door to a story that’s waiting to be told.  Laura’s lifelong career and accomplishments have provided her the opportunity to perform in some of the world’s most amazing venues.  Although she has received numerous grants for her work in Story Telling, Theatre Arts for Growth and Empowerment, her most sacred accomplishments occur in moments of change and healing experienced throughout the creation of art.  Laura exudes the power of prayer and play, the serenity of stone and water, the divinity of dance and meditation and the comfort of home and adventure. She manifests sheer integration of the mind, body and spirit that are on the cutting edge of healing and insight work.  After growing up in the colorful tropics of Hawaii, Laura currently resides on a working farm in rural Maryland with her therapy dog, Collie.
