Program Assistant

Laura was born and raised in Fairfax, Virginia where she still lives today.  She has a talent for music, learning to play piano, the clarinet and the saxophone too!  She has a bachelor’s degree in Health System Management and is currently studying to become a certified substance abuse counselor.  Laura is actively involved in outreach with Oxford Houses in the Northern Virginia region.  Laura is passionate in her belief that there is hope for everyone and positive thinking is the first step to feeling hopeful.  She is empathetic to the profound effects of substance abuse on the entire family system and she looks forward to continued growth and experience in the field.  Laura loves traveling and being outdoors.  Her dedication to helping others is refreshing and can be seen in her interactions with both colleagues and clients.
