Larry comes to Sagebrush from the Boston area with almost 10 years of experience in the addiction field, treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. His personal philosophy is to approach and treat each client with an abundance of compassion. Larry understands the devastating effect that addiction can have on individuals and their families. He was educated and trained at Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Advanced Practice, specializing in addiction and mental health counseling. He holds licensure as an LSATP in Virginia and an LADC1 and LMHC in Massachusetts. Larry’s treatment philosophy encompasses a holistic approach interwoven with evidence-based practices. He understands that as a person makes the journey to recovery, the mind, body, as well as the spirit, must be healed. Throughout his career, Larry has held management, supervisory and clinical positions at some of the leading treatment centers in the country. In his free time, Larry enjoys everything related to aviation, hiking, golf, and often to the chagrin of his co-workers, following his beloved New York sports teams.
